Visiting, although being one of the last recorded songs on the album, was one of the first songs I ever wrote. It was written during the experimental phase of learning how to sing while also learning how to write lyrics.
lyrics
stand next to someone it seems they're odd,
you find it better to replay or resay,
the things you have mentioned around everyone,
they hear the words you say, but look the other way
visiting, visiting, visiting, oh, visiting,
visiting, oh, i bet you wish you were just visiting
stand next to someone on the lonely street,
you make it easy, and try to keep it sleazy when you're,
campaigning everyone who's got it made,
say i will not be beat, i will not be beat
visiting, visiting, visiting, oh visiting,
visiting, oh, i bet you wish you were just visiting
